Duration: 8 days
A history tour by road and by air to Bahir Dar, Gondar, Simien Mountains National Park, Lalibela & Axum.
Day 1: Fly to Bahir Dar. Boat ride on Lake Tana to explore island monasteries. Over night stay at the Tana Hotel.
Day 2: Blue Nile falls and city tours, overnight stay at Tana Hotel.
Day 3: Drive to Gondar, transfer to your hotel, and then visit of the Castles of Gondar, and Debre Berhan Selassie church. Over night stay at Goha Hotel.
Day 4: Day trip to Debark, head quarter of the Simien Mountains National Park (SMNP), then proceed to Sankabar; return Gondar for your overnight stay.
Day 5: Fly to Lalibela to inspect and admire the rock hewn churches of Lalibela. Overnight stay at Roha hotel.
Day 6: Lalibela: sightseeing tour of the remaining group of the rock churches of Lalibela.
Day 7: Fly to Axum. Explore the Obelisks, Mariam Tsion Church and around the other archeological excavations. Overnight stay at hotel Yeha.
Day 8: Fly back to Addis Ababa and transfer to your hotel.
