Duration: 9 days
Day 1: Morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Gondar. Up on arrival transfer to your hotel for check-in then start city tour of Gondar. Overnight stay at Goha hotel.
Day 2: Drive from Gondar to Buit-Ras and then walk about 3 hours to Sankaber (3250m) and camping at designated camping site.
Day 3: Walks from Sankaber to Geech, about 5 hours and camping at Geech.
Day 4: Trek to Chenek via Immetgogo and Inatye following the escarpments to Chenek and camping at Chenek.
Day 5: Chenke to Ambiko via Bawit Peak, about 6 hours and camping at Hambiko.
Day 6: Trek Hambiko/Ambiko to Ras-Dashen and then back to Ambiko, camping at designated camping site.
Day 7: Ambiko /Hambiko to Chenek.
Day 8: Drive from Chenenk to Gondar. Overnight stay at Goha hotel
Day 9: Fly back to Addis.
N.B. Trekking routes can be shortened or extended. They can be extended to the history routes, Axum, and Lalibela.
