This tour follows the Lower Omo Valley where we visit settlements of the Dorze, the Mursi, the Hammer (or Hamar) , the Benna (or Bana), the Ari, the Karo, the Arbore and the Konso. Lake Chamo and its giant crocodiles is included.
Day 1: Drive Addis to Arbaminch via Hossana Sightseeing en route includes The Steles in Tiya Dated back to 12th century AD. One of the World heritage sites. Overnight stay at Bekele Mola Hotel in Arbaminch
Day 2: Arbaminch. Visit includes Boat excursion on Lake Chamo, Dorze tribes and their villages. Overnight stay at Bekele Mola Hotel in Arbaminch.
Day 3: Arbaminch to Turmi: visit includes the Konso and Arbore villages. Overnight stay camping at designated campsite in Turmi.
Day 4: Turmi: Visit includes sightseeing of the famous Hammer/Hamar tribes’ market and their villages. Camping at designated campsite in Turmi.
Day 5: Turmi to Jinka: Visit includes the Benna/Bana and Ari tribes en route. Overnight stay at Orit hotel
Day 6: Jinka; Day trip to Mago National Park and the Popular Mursi tribes and their villages. Overnight stay at Orit hotel.
Day 7: Jinka to Arbaminch: En route visit of the Tsemay tribes and their villages. Overnight stay at Bekele Mola Hotel in Arbaminch.
Day 8: Arbaminch to Addis via Meki. End of the tour for the southern sector.
